If a force is applied to the teeth via string, braces, or specific springs, a movement in the direction of force will be observed. A temporary bone tissue destruction occurs in front of moving tooth, while new bone structure grows in the opposite direction. Acquiring a new position, teeth now can settle in a new bone slot.
