You can visit a dentist in emergencies, but a gynaecologist must be consulted before starting any treatment.

First of all, take good care of mouth hygiene. Sweet food sticks onto your braces and produce bacteria, decaying your tooth.

You should eat soft food during first week. Avoid hard food like carrots or nuts, as they may break your braces. Eating too hot or too cold food can alter physical properties of your braces and make them fall.
