Implant treatment consists of two phases: surgery phase and superstructure phase. A 2 to 6 month waiting period is required after implants are surgically secured. This period of time is necessary for implant to bond with the bone; this process is called “osteointegration”. After this period ends, second phase, superstructure, will be completed within approximately one week.
