There are a series of factors to consider when deciding whether to get an implant or not. First of all, patient must be in good health and able to recover; for instance if the patient has diabetes, semi healing may cause complications. If this disease develops after implants are fixed, it may still cause complications in future condition of implants. Patient must be examined thoroughly before selecting the correct implant and method with utmost attention to detail. After your dentist fixes your implants very carefully, you also will need to show great care to your implant. If not taken care of properly by either dentist or patient, complications may develop. In addition, cigarette and/or alcohol consumption greatly reduces implant success rate.
